New here: my CTT: pics
Hi guys! New here and here's my newly purchased '05 CTT with close to 72k miles. It will be loaded into a container in the next couple of days for shipment to my location. I should be seeing the vehicle by the 1st week of July.
I originally wanted a G500 but since it is a very similar vehicle to my LR3 and the thought that my wife misses her white X5 (we sold that for the LR3), this white CTT seems to be a sensible choice to replace my '05 Wrangler Unlimited (which I hardly take off roading anyway). My 4-year old son is also a Porsche fanatic and he wanted a 5-seater Porsche too so all of us can fit. A sensible choice, I guess.
I've already got some mods lined up. With the CTT being almost fully-loaded, there isn't much to do anyway. Mechanically, it will remain stock. I think 450-hp is more than enough for a family hauler......but you'll never know when the performance mod bug catches up. In line (and a must-have) is an ipod integration kit and I've got the Dension in mind. Another must-have is the aluminum coolant pipes (if the vehicle is confirmed not to have them). OEM stainless steel front skid plate to protect the paint under the chin. Maybe the OEM rocker guards. Porsche DVD Rear Entertainment. Bluetooth. 18" Wheel Set for rougher terrain. Some bulb upgrades. JL Sub/Alpine amp if Bose subwoofer is determined as not good enough.
Anyway, here are the pics.
