Hello guys,

Would like to acquire an IPOD kit for my Cayenne S, unfortunatley my car doesnt have an aux output. I would like to retain my OEM CD changer, is there any way I can integrate the ipod through the PCM whilst still having the CD changer functioning.

Thank you in advance,

Mohammed

I recently installed a Dension kit. Works great and retained the use of the CD changer. Got my set from Eric of bumperplugs.com.

I have done alot of research no system will allow you to keep your 6 disk changer. Your in dash will still work.

The Dension works with the 6CDC. I know, I have one. There is a box consisting of a manual switch and aux rca input connected to the control box. That manual switch enables one to switch between iPod and CDC. I've tried it, it works. I also retain the use of the in-dash cd player.

bumperplugs.com. it works with PCM & non-PCM. your advantage of having a MY2006 is that you may have phone buttons on your PCM which also gives you the option to connect the BT kit making calls integrated with the PCM.

What part number is it, for ordering details as it lists PCM 2.1 or older which one do you think I have.

For an '06, I'm sure you have PCM 2.1. Eric of bumperplugs will be able to answer all your questions. Look under vendor directory on the right and you will see his link. He's a member and sponsor of 6speed and he answers all questions promptly.
