Yoko Spec-X in 305??

I need a new set of tires and wanted to know if 305/40/22 Yokohama Spec-X would fit on my 22x10 TechArt Formulas. I'm currently running 295/30/22 Toyo Proxes S/T. They no longer make this size so either have to go to a 285 or jump up to a 305. I like the Toyo's alot but a patient of mine owns a tire store and I already went to him to get an estimate. He suggested Pirelli Asymmetricos. The reviews I read on Tire Rack were better for the Yokohamas.

Any opinions on whether the 305's will fit and any experience with these Spec-X?

GQpro is infamous around these parts
You can choose the Continental CrossContact UHP 295/30/22. I ran the Pzero before this UHP. I think I will use the UHP again. I love its grip very much.
