997.2 Rear DR 305 35 18 with 235 35 19 Front?

So I'm thinking of picking up some rear 18x11 OZ centerlocks with Mickey Thomson ET Street so I can get a 9 second pass.

I don't have room in the car to carry the equipment or tires to change them out at the track, so I would need to drive from home. A 400 mile round trip trek to Bakersfield. The ET streets can be driven on the street and should be fine with the front R888's. But that's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried about the 305 35 18 being too big and causing some kind of drivetrain error.

A MT 305 35 18 looks like it has an overall diameter of 26.4 vs 26.2 for the stock 305 30 19 rears. Will the 997.2 give me errors/codes if I try this?

At one time I was looking and it was determined that there wasn't a wheel/drag radial combo that would be safe enough to drive to and from a track. It was one of those things where it would be good for a couple passes then taken off. Over the winter I'm going to pick up a rear setup too but unfortunately ive been told there isn't a DR sized for us to safely run.
At 400 miles round trip, it prob isn't feasible for you to have someone with a pit truck follow you with all the tools in the back like I am planning

That does look close, Betim would probably be a good person to ask

I was afraid of this. Oh well time to get a breaker bar to change the rear centerlocks at the strip. And beg someone to bring them up for me.

Do not worry that tire will work just fine with the all wheel drive. Just make sure you drive there and back fully inflated. Dropping psi drops height and wears tire faster on regular driving.

Good point. I may drive the car around town like that at 30+ psi for a few miles and see if it triggers any faults. If not I may be good to go.

As an added +1 to them working, the Toyos run a little bigger than stock tires
Diameter of the 19s that you run in the rear are 26.5 so these will work perfect.
I'm going to pick up a set too

You will be fine trust me! I'm running a 28" tall tire in the rear and I'm fine! LOL
