Opinions on this Turbo Build (Not doing the S now)

What do you guys think, going today to take care of it:

Cayenne Turbo, Black with Two Tone Espresso/Cognac

Packages
Premium Package Plus
Sport Package

Exterior
Panorama Roof
Wheel Arch Extensions
Exterior Package in High-Gloss Black
Privacy Glass (Can they do all around @ the factory?)

Wheels
19" Turbo Wheel for Winter, 21" Black for Summer

Interior
Side Airbags
Fire Ext.
Non-Smokers
Adaptive Sports
Porsche Crest on Headrests (Front Only)

Interior Wood
Walnut Interior Package

Audio/Communications
Burmester System
Compass Display on Instrument Panel

This looks like it should be killer. What do you guys think of the color combinations and wood packages?

I went to the dealer yesterday to look at a few options and the thermal glass is only the rears (no front). I'm assuming this might be due to it being illegal in certain states to have the front window's tinting.

Porsche Crest on Headrests (Front Only): why not the rears too? its not that much more.

Jesh, I have a few thoughts, suggestions and questions.

Thoughts: Very well optioned with the PDCC, PTV and 21 inch wheels. That will be the best handling SUV on this planet. The snug fit of the adaptive sport seats, unique feel of natural leather with nice ambient light afforded by the Pano roof, the quietness of the double paned noise insulated glass and a Burmester sound on the background...what more could you want ? The metallic black would hide swirls better than solid black but some people do not like metallic paint. Oh BTW, I am glad that you read the manual and saved some money by not opting for the telephone module (Is my check on the way ). Good job on the compass display too as it looks a lot better IMO than just that speaker grill but it all adds $$$.

Comments: I went with the Espresso/Cognac interior and chose the standard high gloss black trim. I personally do not like the wood interior in "sports cars" and also feel that it would make it too busy for the two tone color option. Not sure if 4-zone climate control is standard on the CTT but would be something that I would add.

Questions: Is Porsche fitting you with a winter tire for your 18 inch wheel option ? They only have two options the summer performance tires and the all seasons. What made you change your mind from an S to a turbo ?

My build is exactly like yours including the two tone, adaptive cruise, 18-way, Burm, Pano, compass, insul glass, rear airbags. I of course paid extra for some of those options since mine is a S and some of these are standard or lower cost option on the CTT. I went with metallic black.

Looks like I will be doing aftermarket tint. The tint looks weird on this car and I think it's due to the type of tint they are using (obviously). The wood interior should look good with this color combination, the "aluminum" trim is too much in the car and it pops too much I think.

4 Zone does come standard, there wasn't anything else I could add that I'd really use (e.g. hitch I can use the Hummer or ML if I need to tow, ditto with rails).

Not sure on the tires, w00t. I will either use their all season or fit my own.

I went with the turbo instead of the S because I took a Turbo out today for the day and figured if I'm going to go, might as well go all out! It's a beast!!

I may go with Metallic Black, will figure it out tomorrow! I have a black M3 and Black ML550 and I know all about the swirl mark pain

Your build sounds great, except for the exterior looks without front/rear steel skid plates. In the brochure they have the CTT with these skid plates and it makes it look so much better from front and rear angles. All the CTT I have seen in person lack this option and thus lack the sporty look I expect in such a car. Or because I know it could be so much better looking with it. Take a look on the porsche website or the brochure to see what I am talking about.

I have the skid plates on mine and am debating replacing the option with something else. I agree in the photos the plates make it look really good, but those photos are always from an angle that really shows them off. In person they are not as recognizable. Also, the rear skid plate is hardly such - it is a TINY piece of trim only.

Might want to consider eliminating the arches as they are not much more pronounced than the ones that come with the larger wheels. Then again judging by your badass build, you don't really need to save any $$

My CTT build is similar, but Jet Black Metallic, Cognac/Espresso, went for the Olive wood after my family encouraged me to spring for it. I chose the 21" Turbo II wheels, IMO they are to die for. Didn't do the sport pkg because I live in NH and need the heated wheel. Did get PTV but not PDCC, had to draw the line somewhere LOL.

Guys, I would say that the Burmester is to die for .... Best car audio system in the universe second to none. We are lucky that the pepper carries it. Only other car (besides the pana) that has the B is the Bugatti Veyron

How do you like the Olive? It isn't too light?

I told them to eliminate these, no sense the dealer agrees.

As for the skid plates, I don't like the look of them, was deciding on them but went against.

I don't have the car yet (on the boat), but from looking at the samples it looks like a perfect match between the Espresso dash and Cognac seats. Will post pix when I get the car.
