Condensation on inside of headlight lens?

Just wondering if people are having issues with this as well? It hasnt gone away since Sunday and it's brand spanking new. Not sure if the headlight housing needs to be pulled and resealed?

Any thoughts?

Just got off the phone with the dealer and they said it was normal to have some condensation in the Cayenne? Is this an accurate statement?

My Turbo had condensation when I first got it, and just saw some again on a recent COLD night. I think it may be normal on these headlights. Doesnt seem to affect performance and seems to go away quickly. May be related to colder outside temps and hot internal temps. That's how I understand it, anyway...

Scott,

I think you're right. I noticed condensation in one of my lights for the first time tonight. It was the coldest night of the year so far.

Stopped at dealer 2 days ago and he had two Cayenne 04's with both lamps fogged up.

It's a classic seal failure and seems to be big problem; especially since I saw these at the dealer lot.

Dealer will never admit that it is a problem - I will try to look into this deeper. It has never impacted me, but what I saw was ugly.

Just report it to NHTSA if they get enough complants they will issue a recall.

I am sure if a enough owners complain Porsche will do something. A call to Porcshe NA may be worth while, altough it does not pose a saftey problem as only a small part of the bottom lense gets condensation.
