Unhappy Strange heat AC issue

I have a 2004 Cayenne S, 68kmi, when I put the heat on I have heat on the drivers side and cold air on the passenger side. It does not matter what I set the passsenger side to, ie, HI heat, recirculate, 78, 85, it blows cold, so I just turn it off. I recall I get the reverse effect in the summer, Ice cold for the drivers side when I want it cold (in other words, drivers side always works), but still hot on the passengers.

Is there a reset or reprogram I can try?
Anyone have any clues as to what this could be before I spend my lifes savings at the stealership?

I have the same car, same mileage and had a similar issue about 6k miles ago, but it was dealer fixed for 1.5 hours labor, no parts.

My issue was slightly different, I had my climate control come on automatically and blow opposite temps throughout my vehicle. when I wanted cold, it was hot on both sides, and when I wanted hot it was "warm" on both sides.

Don't know if its the same issue as yours, but I hope it helps some.

I did want to mention sometimes after 15 minutes or so the passenger side begins to work normally. Once it works, it works the rest of that ride, but each time I get back in, I never know if the passenger side is going to blow cold in the winter or HOT in the summer even when the AC is on full blast. Also I have the digital thermostat controls in the backconsole as well and yes right rear is off like passengers.
I'm pretty mechanically inclined, so if anyone knows a DIY please let me know. Thanks!

Did anyone figure out what the solve was? Are there some adjustments that the dealer was able to make?

I have a similar quirky issue - drivers always blows hot, passengers side seems to work fine.
