Navigation Accuracy

Hey Guys,

I have an '08 Cayenne S with factory navigation. I was wondering if anyone else has run into the problem I'm having.

When I input the destination it gets me to within about 1/4 mile of the address and then says "you have reached your destination." It's not a huge deal because i can usually find the exact spot from there but I would think it would be more accurate. I've used Garmin's and TomTom's in the past and they basically put you in the driveway of where you want to go. The car seems accurate with turns and stuff. Meaning if it tells me to turn right in 200 yards, that is almost exact.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Yeah I have that problem too on my 04. My Garmin has done that before too though. The Garmin alerts me to exits too late sometimes though and I don't have that problem with my Cayenne nav.

navigation system

I use the nagivation on my 997 TT 07 only in emergency. On my last trip to Colorado Springs, I used both Garmin my factory installed navigation.
I used Garmin for the detailed map and factory installed for the big picture map.

it does that because of the inaccuracy of the house numbers in the map data
