UPDATE: Codes for all cylinders miss firing..........and recommended pencil coils and plugs.........

already have OEM plugs. Autozone wanted 64 for each coil and P dealer wants 54.

Anyone know if Amazon/Autohauz/suncoast is my best bet?

Can always go to dealer tomorrow and pick them up as they have 11....

Anyone in ATX want to come learn from my misfortune when I change them is more than welcome ..

111k miles on one set.........

Did you fill it up again with the car on again? If so, you should probably stop doing this. Cars should be filled up with it off.

I did do this a few times..........but I think my coils are just shot....

But youre right, I would imagine it could cause fuel filter or pump to suck in detritus from the tank.........doh...

Best deal on V8 coils is NAPA - pro auto parts dealers (where your independent mechanic goes.)

They're pretty much nationwide and on-line. They have a Beru coil (repackaged) for $27/each. You can look it up on their website. I ordered one as a spare to keep in the P!G - they got it for me in 1 day.
