PCM Upgrade or New AfterMarket Navi System

Hi......I'm trying to decide whether or not I should purchase the upgrade DVD's for my 05 Cayenne PCM System or if I should get a new aftermarket navi system. I'm a semi-techie person & I hate the PCM Navi system that came with my car. I would love to have something with a touch screen similiar to my TomTom and I would also like to add a back up camera.

I ran across this system on line & was wondering if anyone has installed it? It looks really nice but the price makes me think something's wrong.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Tks!!!!!

This seems little too good to be true,,, but I would definitely go with Alpine INA-W900BT model, $1000 cheap enough.

Yea.....It sounds fishy to me too. Did you install the Alpine yourself & do you have a back up camera? Thanks

My factory unit is still running strong, but I'm planning to go with the aftermarket unit like Alpine INA-W900BT if the Porsche unit gives up in the future.

I already checked that unit out. Inerwebs sell it for anything from $350 - $1500. Its shaped to fit perfectly in the Cayenne dash, BUT I spoke to 2 sellers of this unit and it is NOT plug and play. It will not connect to the MOST ring - you will still need a new amp or a MOST converter.

Roxboxx since I'm clueless about cars and car stereos......do you have any suggestions on a unit that would fit in my car or is it worth it to get a new amp or a new MOST converter? Tks.
