Anyone has straight piped their cayenne turbo?

Don't know but before I did the second cat delete there was no exhaust sound at all.

Some guys did custom magnaflow or similar but I don't like the looks from the back.

I thought opening the original one and just bypassing it inside so that would be the same as straight...

I think inside it won't be a big difference as the sound isolation is very good.

When it runs stationary there is hardly any V8 sound at all

 

Yeah I did the cat delete mod and then a muffler mod where I bypassed the muffler partially with some 3/4" tubing on each side. It made the idle rumble better from the outside, can't hear it inside, and the full-throttle sound is amazing. I would like to do straight pipes but I just think it would be too over the top for this project. Im not trying to go that wild for once. Now my WRX, on the other hand, is as wild as it gets, anything goes as far as noise is concerned!!

Power Loss?!?!? Please explain how you came to this conclusion. The only thing I can think of being a turbo'ed car, the ECU was detecting the extra flow and was unable to compensate electronically so the boost was not working correctly. If you would have had a dyno tune I can bet that you would have had awesome results. The turbo would have been extra happy!! No backpressure + Turbo + Tune=
