Question What are some essential option and why?

Hi guys, looking to get into a 2011 or 2012 Cayenne, please let me know what options are essential and why.
Looking through the porsche site the amount of options are over whelming...

So far the plan is for Sand White with espresso/congnac interior, either a V6, S or S hybrid...

any feed back is much appreciated!
Thanks

IMO, the Cayenne is amazing out of the box, with no options. All options are mearly a matter of personal taste. Bluetooth is included now. Nav is a must but others will feel differently. Bose is a good upgrade, Burmaster is better but $$$$. I chose to spend my money on performance enhancing options over comfort. I got PASM & PTV. Other's will tell you to get Air Suspension which adds more comfort to your ride. The pano roof is supposed to be awesome, but i thought that my money was better spend elsewhere.

There are a ton of threads discussing most options. You will find a wealth of info on this!

Good luck!

I would suggest to get the options that can't be added later if they are important, ie. Pdcc, ptv, panoramic roof, preference on seats, insulate glass, multi wheel, nav, ACC. stuff like that. Even if you get a base with minimal options you cant go wrong, it's a porsche. Wheels and other similars can be added later.

If you're going to lower at all, then PASM.

i agree that its awesome, but for the price they charge, it can't be a "must" option! Maybe on the turbo, but not on a V6 or S. You need Air Suspension to get the PDCC. That's over $6k right there!!!

I opted for PASM & PTV, which is a more reasonable combo!

Drive with it and without and you can see the difference.

Insulated glass is nice too if you live in a hot climate like Florida.

dave-t will become famous soon enough
I got a Cayenne V6 with Premium Plus package, Panorama Roof, Drive/Entry and 19" Turbo wheels. The packages give you nice options at a reasonable price.
