How to get VSS signal for aftermarket Nav?

Does anyone know the answer to this question? I have installed a pioneer touchscreen headunit, and the NAV is so inaccurate. I was told that in order for the NAV to operate correctly a VSS signal needs to be obtained, but given the CANBUS/fiber optic system, obtaining such a signal is difficult. Does anyone have any ideas? Much appreciate any thoughts.

It is there

The wire is there somewhere. I installed a pioneer unit in my 911 and connected it. Made a big difference in the accuracy. I can tell you where it is in a 997 and 987 but that won't help you much. The canbus is not a factor.

Hi, Sorry for reviving an old thread but i've been reading on forums for hours and can't figure out where to find the vss wire to make my aftermarket headunit's gps works correctly. If you remember or anybody else knows please advise.
Thanks.
