Has anyone tried this? I removed them on my M3 but that was on cloth. These are on the alcantara and I would hate to destroy it.

Why would I want to? Well, it just looks ugly:

Did it on my gts with a heat gun but the behind texture was left flat. Looked better but not perfect.
They have alcantara patches that you might try. Not sure.

Might just leave them on my new CTT... Not sure.

Thanks, if it's patchy I suppose I'll just leave it. Dealer isn't sure if a replacement comes with them on already or not - wondering if anyone has ordered replacements and can let me know if they come with them or not?

Instructions for leather contained here. Not sure about alcantara.

Also look into getting the European visors as replacements. Try Suncoast Porsche.

seems a blow dryer would be safer then rubbing alcohol..more so for alcantara.
seems it would would really mess that up big time.

try the hair dryer on the passenger visor on a corner see if it lifts up after
10 seconds..

worst case dump the car and buy a new one.

If it doesn't work out, we might be able to get a Euro Alcantara set for you. If interested, PM me with your VIN and I'll see what's available.

I know i'm resurrecting an ancient thread, but I'm curious how this went. I'm taking delivery of my Cayenne in November and will face this exact challenge. Looking for some guidance or advice, because those stickers are fugly!

Interesting. My '05 only has one small sticker on the driver's visor. Not sure when they started putting those honking huge things on. Mine doesn't bother me too much but it would be nice to not see it there anymore. I'd be interested in seeing how one turns out too. Or maybe I'll just try it sometime and report back. Maybe!??

Sticker / Glue /Alancantara / Glue / 1/8th" thick foam / Glue / Headliner Shell

In 7 years the foam is going to dry rot and the Alacantara is going to fall down anyway but I'd be careful of applying heat or solvent and pulling on the sticker, which will in turn be pulling on the layers. If you want it to last the headliner is delicate!
