Transmission Cooler for Towing?
#2
Kinda curious as well. I will say I have had a tranny cooler on my other cars. I used. I think it was b&m in the past and the system was pretty good.
Does the CTT not have a factory tranny cooler? If not it wouldn't be too hard to fab up, Ill look into it more if I get the 955 generation turbo.

my cayenn S has a stock tranny cooler, so the Turbo must as well. I am considering getting an additional cooler (aftermarket) to install. I do alot of the work on my Cayenne myself and often get under it(oil change for instance) after driving it, look for leaks or signs of wear, and feel it. The tranny is often too hot to keep my hand on, other than just to quickly touch.
any thoughts?

I have recieved a referral to Porsche specialists in Kalispell to install my brake controller. I am going to ask them about a transmission cooler.
At $8 Grand a pop, investing a couple of hundered in extra cooling seems wise.
Let me know what you come up with.
