I got it all cleaned up and no more haze. Drove it around, no haze.....Hopefully I'm all good now. I'm no professional detailer but I think I did an ok job. How long will it last? hopefully till spring hehehe.....
Washed, wiped down with 3m general purpose cleaner. This I think this is what was needed. You could just feel all the crap coming off. Then Mothers Cleaner Carnauba wax, then Mequiars Carnauba Plus Wax.

Here are my results:
All I can say is WOW what a great job. Any chance you would be willing to do that to my CTT. No really the Cayenne looks great
I have an 09 Cayenne GTS in Black. A few summers ago I was waxing my car with some turtle wax liquid wax (pretty heavy stuff) I was in a hurry and I half assed removing the wax on the hood, it got dark out, I went on with my night neglected to make sure I got all the wax off, days turned into weeks and the next thing you know I have a permanent haze, discoloration, etc what ever you want to call it where the wax was not removed. 500 carwashes , 10 proper waxes the area still shows infact it's never improved.
I share my story because perhaps the previous owner (if any) neglected the area your seeing.
cheers from Colorado Sorry it’s night time !

Been having this issue with the hood, top front of the bumper and sides of the fenders getting a haze on it. Almost like a smoke film. I think it's the lack of a hoodliner and the heat is doing something to the detailing products etc. I've tried to use different brands but no luck. Doesn't go away after it cools.
Anyone else have this issue? Looks nice before I leave home and once it gets hot it looks like **** till I spray detail it after it cools. Driving me crazy.
