Check what happen to me last night!
Fell asleep and hit the curb!
I need to get this fixed ASAP. When I got my rims I did so through the dealership since they cut me a decent deal, and bought from me the rims that came with the car from the factory.
I am considering putting the claim on the insurance, but not sure yet until I speak with my insurance broker tomorrow. Either way I will like to know, if any of you guys have an idea where can I get a good deal on rims and tires! Maybe somewhere where I can get them already mounted and balance before being shipped! Thanks a lot!

you are lucky that nothing worse happened. You shouldn't fall asleep when you drive, its dangerous for other people.
You can buy a new wheel and tire, its not that expensive, not worthed to go through insurance.

I just looked, you actually broke the rear piece too. Maybe you should try insurance, but if you need a good deal on those, try to contact 20C4S (Arling), he owns a shop in LA and he can get you a very good deal.

Overall, the cayenne is a very safe SUV, I saw two people that hit the curb with the x5 and they flipped it over...

I only felt a sleep for no more than 1 sec, but that its all it takes for a lot to go wrong.
I’m very glad nothing else happen. I wasn’t driving fast at all and although it doesn’t seem like it, I didn’t hit the curb that hard!

You'll need a good alignment and suspension check to make sure nothing is bent. Doing this at dealer is costly and I think you should go through insurance. Hope they'll replace custom wheels.
