How To Remove Roof Rails on '08 GTS?

Done research, however, not seen anyone list steps to remove roof rails from Cayenne 955. I have an '08 Cayenne GTS with them now. You think it looks more sportier without? Thanks,

I think it looks better with them on!! I have an 06 CS titanium edition and it has the rails along with the running boards, totally makes it look allot better of other cayenne's without them.

the roof rails that run the length as opposed to the cross braces? anyway, there are screws that are accessed from the inside edges i think. they are covered with rubber grommets
