Question 285/45/22 Tires - PSM

Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone has had 285/45/22 sized tires on thier Pepper without causing problems. Right now I run 285/35/22 and its getting harder to source tires with warranty on this size. I have read that the 285/45s might cause problems with PSM. Is this true?

I'd like to know this too. I'd rather have the taller sidewall than that of the 35 series.

Loutorious is infamous around these parts
I think 285/45/22 will be too large, probably will not clear the wheel well while turning. The wheel size will be 32 inches. I saw a touareg with 295/40/22 posted somewhere and I got a set of tire of that size myself but have not mounted them yet, probably later closer to summer time. I can't find the link again with the pictures but it looked pretty good, large wheels but not monster truck large. The touareg had fender flares, but did not mention using any spacers. I am hoping no spacers are needed for the larger wider wheel to clear the upper suspension points. The wheel size of the 295/40/22 will be about 31.3 inches. The largest wheel size I've heard of is 265/65/18 on a transsyberia at 31.56 inches.

The 285/35/22 in NYC area is a joke. Its not if the rims will bent but when and how many at a time.
