09 gts
I'm not too familiar with the trucks so asking for some help here.
Trying to get the wife a 09 GTS 49k miles black/black and took a test drive. The steering felt odd? but maybe because its AWD? I haven't has an AWD since my B5 S4 and really can't remember how the steering felt.
The steering/handling felt a little sloppy but maybe my hopes were too high as I read all these reviews on how well it handles etc and I guess I was expecting 911/boxster like handling? I'm hoping this is normal. I did test drive a 12 cayenne but that was a brand new car and I don't have any other references to compare to. Asking 52k. Reasonable? Of course a PPI will be needed.
What known issues do the v8's have? I believe the coolant pipe/TC seal has been resolved? Thanks.
I forgot to add that it has 21 inch w/snow tires...maybe that's why?

I picked up a 2010 GTS last fall as an upgrade for a winter/bad weather car for my turbo. You can't expect it to handle like a 911, and sometimes I prefer driving the GTS. I drove many other SUVs and will admit that the X5 comes close. At low speeds (around parking lots etc) the steering is "easy." But with spirited driving, the car really tightens up. My favorite part of the GTS is the growl you get with the exhaust. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and was more reassured since it was a CPO. Good luck!
The Cayenne handles very well compared to other SUVs. It's a pleasure to drive. That being said, our CS feels like I'm driving a bus after I've been driving the 911. There's no comparison.
