updated nav disc
From your friendly local dealer. $300 or so (SunCoast also carries them) - If you order from SunCoast it comes with the disks needed to update your PCM to the latest firmware. If you're in Norway (Nor?) dunno how much it would cost.
And yes - it will make announcements in a timely manner ("turn right on I-195 .5 miles ahead" sort of announcement.) To do that you obviously have to have asked it to route you somewhere.
I have seen 2009 nav disks listed on ebay - originals (not copies, avoid the copies, people have reported damaging their DVD reader with copies) - one guy had one listed for less then $100 - which was a real bargain. When I bought mine a year ago, the late 2009 disk was the latest available. I assume there may have been an update since then, but not $300 worth of update for me..
