The previous owner probably used red vinyl (what I did) to achieve the 957 look, and it worked!

I see, although there doesnt appear to be any vinyl... I asked and he said he upgraded them the led ones?

Body bag on the Merc trunk? Gives new meaning to "Murdered out.."
Can't say I'm a big fan of blacked out tail lights.. rather a good discussion over on a BMW forum about what happens if you hit someone who has blacked out tail lights because you couldn't see their brake light come on (and it happens, especially if the sun is behind the car..)
