Should i keep her or trade for a newer?
I have 2006 Cayenne S that i use as a secondary ride. It has 62k miles and recently out of warranty. I bought it 39 months ago with 36k miles. Cost of use if sold today would be about $466/month. It has no mechanical or cosmetic issues.
Question, do I keep it or sell it and buy something like another Cayenne S 2010 with 40k miles?

62k miles is nothing. However, if you have a money tree that is flourishing and overflowing, then by all means upgrade. If you are bothered by the incredible depreciation accociated with newer cars.........keep the 06 and do some mods, (performance, cosmetic or both).
Primarily looking for a new or used car? I have 06 Cayenne S as well (had it since 05 when it was new) and being a little bit impatient with all new Macan (whenever that comes out).
Have you replaced coolant pipes on your vehicle? If you already have, I'd wait around until you cannot resist.
I've been battling with myself for some time now...

I havent replaced anything except tires and oil since i bought it. Its been services by dealers only. I had it checked from bumper to bumper right before the odometer turned 60k. Two separate mechanics including a Porsche Service Tech couldnt find anything.
I have thought about lowering it and getting 19" rims but was hearing mixed things about the ride quality with the lowering. Its also hard to swallow putting that coin into a 6 year old car.
Whats with the coolant pipes?

Well, coolant pipes seem to burst for S model and above and it does quite a bit of damage done to a car depending how much your engine area is flooded. I don't know much in detail since mine didn't burst/leak yet but there's a high chance of damaging the starter, which sits below. I have just over 30K miles on 06 CS (bought it brand new) and I had 0 problems so far.
Parts for coolant pipes are ~$800 but I've been quoted anywhere from $2k to $3.5k through a dealer. My car is also strictly maintained by dealers as well.
Other than coolant pipes, you can sort of fix them as the problem surfaces. I also had 8 ignition coils replaced and it was covered by PCNA.
If Macan comes out soon enough before my coolant pipe bursts, I am most likely gonna switch over but who knows if I will like it or not. Also the fact that I am not a huge fan of picking up new models in early years.
You can find a lot of information by searching "coolant pipes" I believe. I say sit tight and wait for the right opportunity!
