Just a heads up, but I also installed some LEDs inside and discovered a dead battery after it sat for about 10 days while on vacation. I did some troubleshooting and found that the lights I had installed in the rear passenger doors (the ones that light up the ground when you open the door) were not turning off when the door shut. I put back the OEMs and they turned off as they should. Not sure why just these doors were affected but it's a good idea to check the interior in the dark to make sure there aren't any issues.

A-ha! I had that same issue. I bought my LED kit from Suncoast, I also let them know about the issue.

On each rear door there are 2 puddle lights, one red on the lower side, and one white on the direct bottom. If they are BOTH LED style bulbs, they will not shut off when the door is closed. If you place one LED and one "standard" bulb, they will turn off as they should. If you leave one LED and one EMPTY (no bulb) they will not shutoff either (this is per door).

This confirms that it's not just my truck that had this issue.. I too was suffering from dead batteries every couple of weeks (I thought I just wasn't driving enough) until the dealer poked around and found that these lights were constantly on.. I did notice they were on when driving, but after I got out of the truck they are hard to see if they are still on since the seat masks them from the side.

In any case, I just replaced the "red lensed" holders with the original bulbs so I can still have the LED's for the puddle lighting..
