Rattling sound - Driver's side coming from the AC Vent - not sure :-(

Hi guys! Searched around but couldn't find anything close to my current issue. It's a rattling sound that seems to emanate from the left side/driver's side AC vent. I get this when going through rough asphalt or the sequential road reflectors that are supposed to wake you up when you're sleepy on the freeway. The rattling sound gives me the impression that the AC vent fins of are loosely rattling but they are not I opened the fusebox beside the vent and looked at the components inside but couldn't find anything that would make that sound either. I'm beginning to suspect that it's coming from the side mirror, side mirror switch or inside the door panel. Do you guys have experience in this? Maybe a similar rattling type and found/solved it? Any information is always greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to put closure on this issue and say I found it. Its the key rattling and vibrating on the left side. I dont know how im gonna solve this but just holding it while its doing the annoying rattle seems to do the trick. Im not gonna do anything about it for the moment. Thanks.

ive got an idea its a bit left field, but try using some blu-tack (not sure if you have it if not google it) might be enough to deaden the sound in the short term until a better, long term solution can be sorted.
