1988carrera is infamous around these parts
Do you need the dealer.....for service?

My service is comming up..one year /18k miles...truck runs good with no warnings. Dealer wants 350/370 or so..I can do the oil change and replace the filters for way less..done it once at 7k miles allready..any good reason to gothe dealer way?

i say ask the dealer to fax you what he is gonna do to the car for your ref.
then check to see if you can do them. if not then take it to the shop.

i say for oil changes you do those yourself, but for the regular maintainence bring it to the dealer. Might cost a lot, but you have an expensive car. It's a farily small price to pay to keep the car running great. If you had a ferrari it would be worse.

Don't you get the 10-20% off service coupons in the mail?

Bring it to Brian at Carlsen, ask for a Hug after it's done!

Yeah bring it to Brian at Carlsen...

Make sure you make an appt ahead of time if you want a nice loaner or else you'll get a volvo from enterprise.
