2005 CTT oil leak

Hi guys,

Anyone know what is causing my oil leak here? I have an oil leak at the drain plug. Prior to my oil changed it also have the same leak. I changed the oil two months ago and also changed the oil drain plug washer. Thought that might stopped it. Now it still leaking. Could it be the drain bolt is bad? Hate to take it to the dealer anyone experience this? Do extended warranty cover this problem? Thanks in advance.

VIPNiSS is infamous around these parts
it could be the drain plug.. i have seen several other guys on here have the same issue and it was the plug itself causing it

Drain plug leaks after an oil change due to a cracked drain plug are quite common. The drain plug is made of aluminum and it can deform and crack quite easily if it is over tightened. Luckily, it's inexpensive to replace. I think it's about $15. Your dealer will have them in stock since this happens frequently.
