Crap, doesn't look like I'm getting under the truck this weekend!

At least I get to mess with the Durametric that came in yesterday. Also have my graphite "turbo" emblem and clear side markers coming in next week, so hopefully I can knock out the install and oil issue the same day... Anybody know of the easiest way to remove the old emblems off the hatch? Only one I really know of is heating up with a blowdryer and running fishing string behind the emblems, but I'm a little worried about the clear coat underneath with that method...

Sooo this is great news! Finally had some decent weather so I got out there and installed some parts I've been slowly ordering over the past month or so.

First off, took the belly pan off to find out where my oil leak was coming from, and saw a ton of oil coming from my front drain plug. Apparently the last person to do the oil change forgot to put the seal/washer back on when reinstalling the drain plug.

Second, finally had time to tint my side markers & install them with new LED's, install the new LED tail lights, and installed some matte dark grey trim on the lower trim panels and just under the rear hatch window.

So I bought a graphite "turbo" emblem and installed it as well, but man I'll tell you what, the dang emblem is smaller than OEM! It's probably from a 911 or something, probably an inch shorter from side to side. It looks tiny on the hatch!

Next on the list, black out that trim & get my mid pipes & exhaust put on...

I like where you do your maintenance work and your way of "lifting" the car. I hope you clean up your mess afterwards!

I wish I had a garage, but that's all I have to work with while I live in the Northeast. It will suffice for now as I live in a building with a rented parking spot. I definitely can't wait to move back to Dallas where I can have a garage and open the pano roof 9 months out of the year. As for the fluid on the sidewalk, it was just Goo Gone (biodegradable). I used to get the adhesive off the hatch from the old emblems and the spot went away as soon as it dried.

So with the drain plug issue, is there a seal I need to order or do I just order a new drain plug and the seal comes with it?

The drain plugs can sometimes crack, so just to be safe I would get a new drain plug and washer. It's always a good idea to have both on hand anyways. The specified torque for the drain plug is 37 ft/lbs. For more information on the drain plugs and washers we offer Click Here.

Awesome, will buy a few of these in bulk but I have to get to the stealership today and grab one of each since I have a road trip to Boston on Thursday. Thanks ECS!

On a side note, do you guys carry or know where I can get one of these rear window screens for the driver's side window?

Thank you for the support. We can get any OE parts you need. It looks like the windscreen comes as a whole assembly and just not as a screen it self. For more information on the drivers side wind screen Click Here. Safe travels on your trip to Boston.

Congrats Stormy, your CTTS is going to love you coming from heat soaked Houston to higher elevation & cooler weather! Plus I'm sure there are much more twisties up there where you can let her loose...

ECS, order placed! 5 crushable seals, a couple drain plugs (just in case), and even got a nice little hitch cover... Your site is dangerous, I could be on there all day blowing my money! Thanks a lot

I don't know how often you guys get on the marketplace, but I have my OEM stockers on there for sale. Hopefully I'm not breaking any forum rules!
