I have an opportunity to purchase a 2004 Cayenne S and want to ask a few questions, it has 130k on the clock and am considering it for a DD.
How reliable are they at this mileage? Any inherent issues (like the IMS and RMS on the 996's?) When inspecting what should I be looking for to determine if the owner truly did maintenance and kept her up. What is/are/was your experience with a Cayenne? Any help and input would be greatly appreciated.

My wife drives a 2004 CS every day. It has roughly 120K miles on the clock. It has been a very reliable vehicle. There are some known issues, but once they are addressed you will really enjoy a Cayenne.
