im already in contact with support to whom i already send log report. they told me that they need some days to check all. i hope this isnt only excuse that they take as much possible time they need.
i think that the problem is in cable or cable firmware.
i try to install older version of dura. the install was successful but couldnt recognize the cable.

its interesting that a lot of guys here had the same problem but nobody write down how they solve this, if they did.
i find a lot of same issues on google but nowhere any answer.
Same problem here! I'm returning the Durametric cable for now and considering a different product. Anyone have experience with suspension calibration using the vag-com on a 957?

Couple things to check. First you were running the latest revision of the software right? I know I had to update mine not long after buying the cable.

Second, were you able to clear all the fault codes? You have to clear all the fault codes or it won't let you move forward. It may take a few tries to clear the fault codes.

What I posted earlier in the thread was I had to keep trying to get it to take any measurement. I was finally able to get it to take the "stock" number where I started and went through all 5 channels and saved it all. After that I was able to go back and clear all the fault codes...THEN I was able to go back and add in 25 to get it to lower.

It took me several hours of playing with this and trying different things. I'm sorry I didn't document every step I took and I don't really remember them all now. But if you persevere you will be able to get it done.

That's interesting. Did you also get "this channel does not support adaptation" before you cleared all fault codes?

According to Durametric, although they are working on it, they have no solution for this problem.

I honestly don't recall exactly what I did or saw. Had I known so many people were going to have similar problems I would have documented it better. Sadly I didn't.

The issues I had seemed to stem from the fact that I was in the middle of going through it the first time when my laptop rebooted and ruined the whole program. That's when it took me a LONG time of playing with it and trying different things until I was finally able to go through all 5 channels and save it all.

Hi,
I have latest durametric software and i try the steps which was mentioned in previous post.
I clear all the errors (i open every folder on the left and clear errors) but there was no success with adaptation.
i still get message "this channel does not support adaptation"

it looks like that i will return the cable to get my money back. i will try with other softwear like vag, its the same price like durametric.

Well, sorry to hear that Marko. Lot's of folks have been able to get it done but for whatever reason it wasn't working out for you.

I'd personally keep the durametric, it's good for a lot of other things too, but that's up to you.

Best luck in your search!!

same issue ... i received the durametric enthusiast kit cable yesterday from pelican parts and i tried to adjust the height of my rear suspension, nothing works ... usually the program crashes and i have to unplug everything .. of course i have the message "this channel does not support adaptation"... i can read actual data from the module but apparently i can't write anything....still, now i have an error in the dashboard .... workshop suspension faulty ... or something like this... code 1437 suspension adjustment failed ... lucky me ...
i tried to erase the code but the program gives an "error communication with module please check the connection" ... and then crashes ...

I still can raise and lower the car but each time i start the engine the issue pops up ...

are these cables good for anything because for 35 bucks you can buy a chinese knock off that works the same ...

hi
i had completly the same problem.
my car worked perfectly until i bought durametric and try to lower the car. since then i get errors and car needs some time to start rise or lower the suspension.

send the mail to durametric support (his name is Owen). im pushing them at least 2 times per week and i get always the same answer that they put priority to this problem, because there are several others who has the same problem.
you can add me to copy of the mail which you will send that they will see that now everything gets very seriously (my mail is marko.fisnar@findsol.si)

Thumbs up

Yes, I got the HEX-V2 Enthusiast from ross-tech.com. Just follow the instruction for Touareg suspension calibration.

it looks like that they are working on the issue. i'll wait 1 week more if they will figure out something otherwise i will request money back and try with vag com.

Hope they figure it out. I guess I won't play with mine either. If they changed something in the software that unintentionally screwed up the ability to do suspension adaptations I don't want to mess with it.

They're a smart bunch of folks though. I bet they get it figured out for you.
