I have a Durametric Pro cable in Colorado Springs, CO if anyone in the area wants to come by my house give it a go. Just hit me up on PM. I am not interested in shipping or selling.

Using version 6.5.5.12 on Windows 7 I found that all that was required if there were problems was to unplug the cable from both the car and the laptop, and restart the Durametric software.
No need to reboot the laptop or restart the car.
I left the engine running.
If the dashboard "pressure accumulator charging" message comes up, drive around for just a few minutes.
Don't take too long entering the values; it times out and stops working.
If you get lost or something doesn't work, or hangs (e.g.: "Waiting" with no other words in the other fields), click Done and unplug/re-plug the cable and restart the software.
The process takes only a couple of minutes when it works.
This video shows the messages received whilst reading the values and entering new ones, plus (finally) reading the error status. www.steveprior.com/dropsuspension.mov
This is a half-gig video and seems to work best on a phone.
Note I started entering the wrong value before the software was ready to update (182) and I corrected that to my desired reading (207) but I didn't press "Save new value" until the third field in "Parameter results" said "Enter".
You can lower a value if it doesn't take, as I did for wheels 3 and 4 after getting an error on wheel 4.
The error code clears itself when the updates are successful.
Reading the error code can take many attempts, but it always eventually works.
Hello guys, this weekend I had to redo the level adjustment of my cayenne 955 turbo 2006. In Brazil I didn't find durametrics so I managed to do it for Piwis I had exactly all the difficulties that they reported with durametrics, for no apparent reason in some moments it lost the value that I had set and presented the error message, I lost about 5 continuous hours in this service, cooling the compressor with every rise with a jet of compressed air. My car got 182mm in the front (didn’t accept 1mm more) 225mm (didn’t accept 1mm more) the center of the front wheel measured 44cm and the center of the rear wheel measured 46. The rear was not as low as those of the photos they posted , is it worth trying more? Does each car accept a maximum amount?
Thank you for any help, if someone wants to sell a cable preferably used with low price I buy.
max accept loading level low level normal level terrain level max level before Piwis loading level
Looks about same as my 2008 GTS. Came to a point were even one mm would not take. so i left it be. lower than stock but not as low as i've seen others.
Mine is 182 front 230 rear.

If you have difficulties to get a "valid" on certain wheels, go to the wheel, and lift the wheelcase a bit, wiggle it a bit, and you will see it go from unvalid, to valid, unvalid.. Ask a second person to just lift it a bit: at that moment you quickly press the "save" button.. This trick helped me a lot..
The dangerous part is, it displays the stock height, even when you changed the values.. So say it displays 190mm in vagcom, but you allready changed 20mm, so the real height is 210mm, but your tricked the computer in believing it is 190.
So the settings do "stick".
My Cayenne Turbo 2005 is a real "Low Rider" now😉😎 Cayenne Turbo "Low Driving Position"
how does this lowering affect suspension performance though?
Is there a deterioration of performance in either of the modes (comfort, normal, sport)?
Wondering what (if any) are the down sides of doing this.
Thanks.

My car looks beautiful like this, but even in "Comfort Mode", I get launched from my seat, when driving over the "traffic speed-inducing road bumps"..
In "Sport Mode", you can feel the road really, really well..
Flat roads, like highways, drives crazily nice now, very stable because center of gravity is closer to the road, I guess.
Whatever mode you put it in, be prepared for a bumpy ride, with the Cayenne lowered,
When you "transport" your old mom, I highly recommend to put your car in High Mode(Mountain Driving Mode?), and suspension on "Comfort Mode", but still chances are high, she will nót be wanting to be "transported" in your lowered Cayenne ever again..
As promised, here is a full write-up on how to lower your Cayenne factory air suspension with only a Durametric cable. You do not need a lowering module or lowering links to do this mod. So if you already have a Durametric cable, then this is the cheapest and easiest way to lower your Cayenne.
Since there are over 30 pages of detailed steps, it is not conducive to attaching the images to this thread. Instead, I generated a full page PDF.
You can download the full document here: Durametric Cayenne Lowering Tutorial V2

For the "on-the-go" version, here is the brief text format:
Using the Durametric v.6 (download the lastest), it is pretty easy to recalibrate the suspension once your have your independent wheel measurements - although it is not intuitive.
I have used this method a few times before since I lowered my OEM module in a similar manner.
As a overview from memory:
1) connect your ODB-USB cable and open up your Durametric program.
2) browse down the tree on the left side to "Level Control" and select it
3) then select "Adaptation" to be on the calibration screen
4) select "read" . The box below the channel number will say "wait..." Your air suspension will go up and down.
5) when the suspension stops moving and the box changes from "wait.." to "enter". Enter the measurement (in mm) from the wheel displayed. Believe first is "FL" or Front, Driver. Then hit "save". If it accepted your entry, the value in the box will change from "enter" to "learned". If not, then will have to reenter or restart the program/laptop.
6) click the channel "up" button to move on to calibrate the next wheel.
7) do this same step to the other 3 wheels
8) Once all 4 wheels have confirmed "learned", press the channel "up" button one more time to channel "5". Enter "1" to save changes. If the system accepts your changes, it will say "control position learned" in under a minute. If it just sits there and does nothing, you may have to start over from scratch. Sometimes it takes a few times to stick.
9) You will then hear the air suspension adjusting to your new settings - hopefully that means air purging. Enjoy.
Hi - any pictures on where I have to take the measurements on a 2012 Cayenne? I did not record the original heights and now in a little of a bind lol. Thanks!

You can use any version of Durametric cable.
software is the same. Different versions of cable allow use on one car, 3 cars or unlimited (by vin number).

my understanding was the Enthusiast could not do any coding. Only the pro.
I tried clicking the link in the first post for the PDF guide...
