Tutorial: How to lower your Cayenne Air Suspension w/ only a Durametric [DIY]
I there is still some hope for 958 Cayenne owners in the future.
Thanks Renaissance.Man
I haven't posted much in forums lately but I thought as a courtesy I would show before and after's and a few others shots to contribute back.
That was an incredibly well written step by step.
Here's a quick before and after - apologize for the quality, shot with my iPad in our office garage. Everything entered into Durametric was set a value of plus 25. I had the new wheels on even before I lowered it, so I do not have a after photo with the stock setup.

A closer shot of the "after" - the above photo is at the loading level setting and the below photo is at the drivable low setting.
These photos were taken about a month apart so you will notice that there was some painting done to the trim and logo and wheels added.

And here are my two beauties parked at home in my garages!

It is amazing how much better the Cayenne looks lowered with the default silver trim all blacked out. Looks really really good - especially with that tasteful wheel choice! Bravo! Well done!!
Sorry, arts_pcars it looks like I missed this response. I am glad you found this useful and posted some pics for the rest of the community. It looks like this is the gift that keeps on giving.

I imagine many more will find this thread as useful as I did. Durametric should be thanking you as well - I purchased the cable solely for this mod and haven't used it since, never even plugged it in to the Cayman.
Many thanks to RM on this one! I was clearing a service message and began dorking around with the level control module then triggered a fault code when I clicked on adaptation. The writeup enabled me to reset the fault code by using the factory ride height.
After getting things settled, I lowered the truck 20mm for grins.
Awesome info here.

No worries! Welcome to the lowered Cayenne group. Now that I am used to this look, I am always surprised when I see a steel spring Cayenne and the approx. 8 inch wheel gap
Can this be done with either the professional or enthusiast kits?

Yes - it does not matter which version of the kit you have. All versions will be able to access the level control module adaptation section.
Not sure if the Durametric cables are sold through any distributors. Pretty sure you have to order directly from Durametric, so you are pretty much dealing with set pricing. Even so, it is a good tool to have if you plan on doing anything DIY.
