I do have the 20s... I snapped one pic in the parking lot at my office with my camera phone, please forgive the low quality and unwashed condition.

I wasn't planning to post any pics until after the silver trim is vinyl wrapped matte black and the front windows tinted to match the rears (appointment is for Thursday).

I'll try to get a better pic tomorrow morning if you like.

Chris

edit: This is at loading level, I don't have any at the low driving level or normal level.

I seem to get more error messages than learned. Then my laptop battery was too low so will try again today.
My fronts are set to 170 and the rears to 217. It sits kinda high. Are these what u guys are seeing b4 lowering?

Mine was 190 front and 237 rear, I added 30 to each when I lowered it.

I ended up raising it back to stock because my fiancé commented on ride quality being worse and she didn't even know I played with the settings.

But you could have just run it at one notch higher than normal for her, and you could still have the lower settings to use for yourself on smooth roads or when parked.

OK started working on this and got part way through the first one and my frigging laptop decided to update and reboot!! Now I keep getting an error code saying "faulty workshop" and the compressor charging error if I try and change anything. I tried going back and clearing the code but it won't let me. I tried to go in and reset the left front to the 182 that it was when I started. Couldn't do it with the compressor error though. Getting late tonight so will try again tomorrow. Hopefully it'll cool down and I can reset everything and start over.

What did I get myself into. Let it sit overnight and now all four channels are saying "this channel does not accept adaptation". On top of that I'm still getting the "pressure accumulator charging" warning and I just started it up. Still won't let me clear the fault or reset the values.

Did I get totally screwed with this or what? It doesn't seem like it will let me do anything now??

Any help out there?
Thanks!

All good

Well for whatever reason I was finally able to go to all four channels, reset the original setting, it learned them, I saved them and it cleared the code. Then I went back in, set the new levels +25 and it finally worked.

Not sure why it took so many tries or what I was doing wrong but all is good now. Guess I just needed to play with it some more!! The thing that was really screwing with me was the compressor error even when I wasn't in Durametric at all. I suppose it just wouldn't work because of the faulty calibration it thought it had.

Looks better too. Will see how this goes and if I want to lower it any more or less!!

Mine did the same thing when I raised it back to stock, threw the code and it wouldn't go away.. Just had to start the learning process over completely for it to work.

Anyone know of a place in southern Cali that does the dura metric lowering? I have a 2006 turbo s so do you recommend lowering the 25mm all around still? Or if anyone is selling there lowering module I would be interested or any other nice up grades. Thought about wheel spacers but my wheels seem to already be out to the edge of the fender well

Went through "Calibration Lowering" with my tech this past Thursday afternoon using PIWIS.

We found when using the PIWIS it sets the suspension to the height it thinks it is supposed to be at EVERY TIME, it gives no previous numbers and asks you to measure and enter the heights. Entered 35mm higher than measured and found it only lowered the rear 25mm. Re-did the calibration adding 35mm to front and 45mm to rear and got 35mm drop front and rear.

Before on Low ride height

After on Low ride height

It's just a little over an inch lower. Ride does not seem any different.
The only thing I've noticed is it now takes longer for it to Reach loading height.

I can't really notice any difference in ride quality either. I've been pretty much driving it in low-sport setting anyway so going a bit lower I don't think made much difference. Then again I don't really notice a big difference between sport and comfort either. I'm sure it may make a difference if you were pushing it hard around corners.

We'll tried about four companies here in Southern California and only one responded that they don't even use durma metric only giac and every other Indy shop didn't even respond. Is this procedure rare or new out? You think all the Indy shops would of been all over this. Seems like a easy way to make money. Trying not to have to buy the dura metric but guess it might be the next step.
