Rear window spray nozzle
My 2012 958TT has a rear nozzle that has 2 little holes and they come out in mini streams. I had to clean it today so I have a pretty good idea of why it's not a mist. It gets clogged up pretty good and a mist would mean smaller hole and much quicker clog-up. I posted in different location on 6speed pictures of the gunk that was inside those two little nozzles.
This is one of those things that has bugged me in the couple years I've owned mine. I always figured next time anything goes wrong in the rear hatch I'd order a new nozzle and replace. But it sounds like it's working correctly, just designed that way for whatever German Engineering reason.
My theory is you have to hold the spray on longer to get both sides sufficiently wet so it uses more washer fluid that they are hoping you are buying at the dealer at $50/gallon.
