Can you help ID these brake pads - are they OEM?

Can you tell if these pads are OEM ones or aftermarket? Are they supposed to be good?
Just did brakes and pulled these from the car. Thanks in advance.

cool. were OEM pads really really good, or are there many that are better than that too?

some people think factory pads are the best others don't. I havent had experience on my cayenne yet but on other cars i have owned and autocrossed performance friction were always my fav for street/ax. Hawks worked well also but the pf seemed better to me and cost less.

Brake pad options

I agree: the pads look just like the one I removed from my 09 Cayenne S.

I switched to a Performance Friction compound that is almost dust free (900 miles on them now). Stock pads wear quiet but very dusty.

PF make my favorite street/ax pads. Haven't looked into availability for my 06 CTTS but that seems promising!

yes, the ones I had were really really dusty, seemed like I couldn't keep up with the clean up chores.
The new ones so far are very clean and quiet too. No squeaking or other negative comments. Bedded them a couple times and since then you can really feel them bite into the rotors as you stop. Was also told that brake pads will not be optimal until about 500 miles or so or driving.

Contact LPI Racing: http://www.livermoreperformance.com/

I'm sure they can provide the part numbers for the PF pads.

Got the PN:
Fronts are PF AP 977 R4-S
Rears are PF AP 978 R4-S
