coolant level warning

in my part of the world temperature rises up-to 50c
i have experienced a coolant level warning but cars temperature stable, had it checked and topped up until the max level. will wait and see if it pops up again on the dash.
is this a symptom to a problem?

Have your coolant pipes been changed? If not, than this could be a slow leak from a cracked pipe. Once they start to leak, it isn't long before they fail. Another possibility is a water pump. They tend to leak a little bit prior to failure also.

What's the year and mileage of your Cayenne?
