Planning on making more trips up to the snow this winter season so I thought I'd step it up a little bit.

Powder coated my winter set of 18x8 TurboII wheels Gloss Black and mounted 265/65/18 BFGoodrich T/A KO's.

I also installed WeatherTech window visors for fresh air in the Rain/Snow.

Adaptic wheels spacers- 18mm Front, 22mm Rear.

So far I LOVE it! You can feel the larger sidewall in the turns for sure, but it rides really smooth. It's a nice change being up high instead of low to the ground.

I'll post more pictures as soon as the snow hits.

Have you tried the BFG TA KOs in the snow and ice yet. They aren't very good. Looks cool though.

I personally haven't, but many people locally here in the Seattle area run this tire with zero issues.

Why do you say they aren't very good?

I guess I am just comparing them to a true ice radial. They used to be my go to tire for pickups and my landcruiser and were good in their day, but after the development of true ice radials it is a real difference. Also I might be a bit biased because I don't see the ground from Nov to late April, getting an average of about 18 feet of snow at my house. Already have had about 2 feet so far this year. They do work, but for snow and ice are a second choice compared to a true ice radial. The TAs do dig through deep soft snow real well that is for sure.

I've had the BFG on several (currently on 2 ) vehicles and think they work great in the snow. It might just depend on the type of snow you get.

I had dedicated winter tires before the BFGs and the difference around here was small. Especially for a MUCH more durable and long lasting tire.

Have dedicated snows on 2 other cars too.

Ha! Thanks Kent. Yeah neighbors are like, "WTH" lol. Everyone seems to like it though. Can't wait to play in the snow with it. Looking for Mud Flaps to protect my paint now.

Lookin' good...the tires look very aggressive! Being that there is zero snow EVER where I am I can't really comment on the performance aspect
