OK, so my friend is a weeny who trolls the board but doesn't post - so I'll ask for him. I've been egging him on to try dropping the mufflers on his Cayenne S and run straight pipes from the cats back. I think it will sound awesome, but might be too loud.

Has anyone else tried this on a S?

This is Joe @ Fabspeed Motorsport. We tried running straight pipes on the CAYENNE "S" right after the 1 sets of catalyti converters.........it was too loud. On the Cayenne S the best option is a set of 2ndary Catbypass pipes to hook up to either the stock muffler and or replace that rear section too and have more power and deep sound. Even with both systems replaced........the Cayenne never gets too loud which is a testament to the incredible FORTRESS like build quality of these cars. A 6 months old can sleep and still behappy with with 2ndary catbypass pipes and a freeflow exhaust. VIDEO soundbites on website

What's the latest ETA on your Cayenne TT and S systems? A lot of people are considering Cayenne exhaust systems and yours is clearly the best.

Did I read correctly that the bypass pipes are available now and the mufflers will be available in about 5 weeks?

Hi everyone and happy Holidays
we will have Cayenne 2ndary catbypass pipes in late next week. More power and no check engine light. On the Twin Turbos you can hear a faint TURBO whistle which is exotic and very cool. These car are built very well........no matter what you do to the exhaust a 6 month can sleep well on the highway.........BUT when you nail it its all music.
