Companies doing head unit upgrades in Northern New Jersey?
Companies doing head unit upgrades in Northern New Jersey?
Howdy,
I have 2008 Cayenne GTS with CDR23 and Bose sound system and looking into upgrading the head unit to get a nice iPod/iPhone and Bluetooth integration (by nice I mean controlling iPhone from the wheel, for instance, and not hard-wires AUX connector to the existing CDR).
I am looking for a company that can provide a turnkey solution. Glancing through the forum, I have found one in LA, but that's a bit too far.
Can anyone recommend one in northern New Jersey?
Thanks,
V.

Definitely check out Lux Motorwerks in Keyport. I guarantee you will not find a more capable shop anywhere in northern NJ, or even on the East Coast for that matter.

Try Soundwaves on Route 46 West in Parsippany, NJ. They do work on many Porsche cars. Once saw a super-install they did (the install was $50k+) on a Cayenne that had a ton of customization in it (multiple monitors, fiberglass molds, etc).
They custom made some subwoofer boxes in my old 996 that looked awesome, paint-matched and everything. Very reputable establishment.

If you can make it across the tappan zee to white plains, there is a good shop that has done a lot of work on my 911 and Cayenne. Audio Visions...look them up, they just did some nice work on my cayenne installing a double din unit and making sure the steering wheel controls work. They do a lot of cayennes.
