Can't wait to hear it uncorked!!
Does that include piping that deletes the secondary cats as well? I'm guessing crush bent?

No that doesn't include bypass pipes. Pretty much the only pipes they will have to make at the local shop are elbows from each pipe into the mufflers and then out to the tips.

I'll look at adding bypass pipes later if I want a bit more power or sound!

Make sure they dont weld the joint up otherwise you will be in a world of hurt when you decide to change them out.

Well that was an adventure. "Shouldn't take me more than an hour and a half".... three plus hours later...... I had time for a short drive and then home. I will say that so far I'm not totally thrilled with it. It does rumble a bit more at idle but I was expecting a little better sound. Not sure what it is I'm hearing at WOT though. It is louder but it almost sounds like a whistling noise. I need to get it warmed up and do some more driving to get a better sense of what it sounds like.

Ha, no I don't think so. It is a turbo so maybe I'm just not used to that sound yet? I know it won't sound like a big muscle car but I was expecting a bit more rumble especially on start up. I park in a large garage for work and it sounded bouncing off the ramp walls but I think I'm on my way to cat bypass pipes before long.

I forgot to get a video of before but I'll get an after posted this weekend!

Is the whistling from the exhaust or intake? If you have evoms it may be from those. If it's from exhaust I'd suspect a small exhaust leak in one of the welds.

I did the bypass pipes left stock exhaust and happy. Probably won't get exhaust. I know allot of guys just did bypass and got the sound they wanted.

No, defintely from the exhaust and I'm pretty sure the intake is all stock. It's actually more of a whoosh than a whistle but it seemed to be mainly on the passenger side which is what struck me as odd. I need to drive it some more and see what happens.

Yeah I kept the stock exhaust although it must weight 75-80+ lbs, I can't imagine putting it back on. I'll look at ordering bypass pipes soon, at least that should be a pretty simple DIY job.

Quick update. The more I drive it the less it seems to whistle. I think it is really just an overlap in one of the joints somewhere. I'm going to take the tips off and drive it to see if it is in the tips or the pipes. Not nearly as bad as it was the first night though. Still not very loud though so I am looking at bypass pipes.

I'm kinda curious to know what flowmaster or spintech mufflers would sound like on one of these things.
