Is this custom XM sunglass holder install worth anything?

Just purchased this 04 CTT and found this in the sunglasses holder. I don't have any desire to use it and would rather just plug my phone in somehow. Does anyone know, roughly, how much a good stereo shop would charge to remove this, or if it's worth anything to sell? It's a really nice setup as it's completely solid in this location. It's sitting in there a bit crooked at the moment as I had just pulled it out to see if I could disconnect it on the back. Sunglasses holder closes just fine.

Thats easy to uninstall man...I used to work at a stereo shop, what they basically did was take out the sunglass holder and mount a custom made shroud and leather wraped it for the XM radio if you have some tools you can drop it down and see how it comes apart. Its basically one line running to the unit they might have glued it in thats what you might have to take into account or just picked up a used sunglass holder off Ebay and replace it.

That is a great option... I would not be able to live without and XM in my car. Have you ever tried it?

No, I haven't. But, with the lack of storage in the CTT, I'd rather have that open to put things in. Plus, I'm pretty dependent on Spotify and iTunes for music, and will eventually get some kind of iPhone integration.
