Cant believe your not going to keep it for a while, especially with a deal like that.

White/tan, has the basic options but not loaded. Has the red brakes. Does that mean it has the E81 package?

I may, depending on which of my cars sells first. I just have had my other car for 4 years and have kept it in such amazing shape I know it'll run forever. I get compliments on it all the time, great car. I'll have two german twin turbos in my stable, a boat, and a supersport motorcycle. And a single car garage. Something's gotta go!

Ha! If I could justify it I would. I live 1.5 miles from work and take the motorcycle. Only take a vehicle on road trips or on dates. Can't justify the insurance and cost of keeping around 1,000 german horsepower to use it so little.

No - all Turbos come with red brakes. The E81 option has bigger brakes with a 2-piece rotor. If you look at the rotor and see a rotor hat - it has the E81 option. Most E81 cars I've seen are fully equipped, though. So, sounds like this is a standard Turbo.

Well damn. Thanks for the info.

IF the other car sells first, the CTT will be getting:
22" AG Ruger Mesh wheels (black w porsche centers)(unless someone can give me a better option)
Durametric lowering
15% window tint all around
Tinted tailights
Gloss black B & C pillar wrap and roof wrap (vinyl)
"Cayenne Turbo" removed from rear, replaced with black "turbo" emblem
Clear front side markers

Then will get into performance upgrades...

Well, bought the car today. Still not sure if I want to keep it, but too good a deal to pass up. Probably going to put about $2k and some wrench time into it (new valve body, window tint, headlight gaskets, some touchup stuff) and list it for sale at $20k. Will probably take a while to sell but given its condition and history I think it will end up selling for close to that. And in the meantime I can enjoy it.

Got windows tinted, front headlight gasket replaced, clear sidemarkers installed, full detail (clay, polish, wax, headlight restoration, etc) scheduled for next Tuesday, durametric cable ordered (for lowering), piano black pillar trim arrived, and found the rims I want just haggling over price. Also going to replace the rear "cayenne turbo" badge with just a black "turbo" badge. Once I can get her all together I'll get some good pics.

Sounds like it's coming along very nicely. Look forward to seeing a few pictures after you get it all cleaned up.

lol you are going to fall in love with it. do a secondary cat delete
and chip it with epl, you will be up in the 500hp range and cold start
and wot with the psm off will slap a smile on your face every time.

i find mine doesn't like to be babied or driven un-smoothly when you are accelerating
treat it like a stick and stay in it till you reach your desired gear.
i have a silver one but wanted white with black int blacked out windows and black rims.
