Lost Towing Eye Plate Cover

My driver's side towing eye plate cover somehow popped-off yesterday. I even went back the the railroad crossing my Pig "slammed" into and no dice. Does anybody know a dismantler who may have one? Color is Crystal Silver Metallic(2005 Cayenne S).

TIA

Bumperplugs.com - Nope

I tried six salvage yards. All told me I either have to buy the whole rear bumper, or the plate covers are missing. This is frustrating. I cannot believe the $tealer wants $46.00 for the pre-primed part. Should I just swallow my pride and do it, using my OEM touch up kit?

I swear, I'm fastening leashes on both of them....if this becomes a normal occurence!

Try Los Angeles Porsche Dismantler. Otherwise, your dealer will order it for you. Either way, you're likely going to have to paint the replacement.

Thanks for chiming-in. What a great price. Unfortunately, my body shop ordered one from the dealer($46.85) and cost me an additional $31 to paint...making this a $77+ trim piece replacement! After seeing how this looks - it appears mine was actually STOLEN....

This is the part number for the "standard" body kit. Sport design is different/non-existant from all the research I had to do.

Lucky I have the standard "S" body kit. FYI - be prepared to shell-out close $80/painted for this part!
