There is also a better DIY post on Renntech if you are a member there. It goes into more detail for the Turbo. Unfortunately it shows removing more stuff in order to get at the belt and the various pulleys.

Sweet. I'll order the belt and let's knock it out one weekend.Originally Posted by elite1
Dude, let me know when you do it! I did mine 3 weeks ago. Along with a bunch of other unnecessary things.
Does anyone have the link to the turbo belt change mentioned, Im really struggling with mine and might have to give up and take to the indy.
Thanks
Thanks
Nevermind, I found it:

i attempted to do the belt, but I couldnt get the small hard vac line going to the turbo/diverter valve disconnected, nor the larger EGR/vent tube that needed disconnected on the turbos to get them to pass through the belt, not enough room to get a good pull on them, dont think it was the squeeze connectors themselves, rather the fittings seem welded together, they wouldnt budge or I would have to break them, which would be a lot more effort on my part and cost. Not sure how you get a wrench on the adjuster nut to take the slack off either without getting that EGR pipe disconnected and removed out of the way. I could get the top end disconnected, but not the bottom end by the pulleys.
I contemplated cutting at least the smaller turbo/diverter feed hard line and replacing a section with a soft vac line and clamps. Cant really do the same for the larger EGR tube, I guess you could with larger hose. Guess Im gonna leave it to an Indy or dealer to try, and if they break the lines its on them, not me, lol.
