thanks for the detailed post... appreciate the time and effort taken...

visual inspection of the rotors look ok. i have a feeling it may be the pads. i plan to start work on it over the weekend. will post pics of the pads.

the pads on this vehicle were changed in jan last year but it has only since run about 7-8k
