New owner to an 2005 CTT and have seen the compass on the left side of the main dial on other Cayenne turbo's. Mine is empty and I can't seem to find how to activate or turn on the compass. According to the options offered on the turbo's this is a standard option. I've gone through the main menu and there's no a compass setting for me to select. Am I missing something?

 

I think it has to be done with PIWIS at the dealer.

The compass module is underneath the right rear seat. Make sure it is there before you start spending money at the dealer.

 

))) only on certain MY, like 2003. I dont have this separate unit, but compass is fully working on dash. GPS antenna do work, if no antenna = no PCM - then sure unit is needed.

 

Going to the dealer to turn on a compass? Dam I'd leave it off LOL

 

In reality the compass is a novelty item.

 

I have a compas in my mirror on my 2014 Audi A4, I've never used it and I don't even know its their half the time.

 

If it's available. I'd like to activate it. Nice to utlize the empty spot on the left side of the center gaguge.

 

I feel you, I also had one in my Range Rover's/Land Rover's it lit up blue and looked really nice.

Sometimes the small things can really bother you.
