CTT front airshock mount bushing & upper control arms replacement

If you notice your car is squeaking a lot at front, not smooth over bumps, has noises coming out of front, chances are your shock mount bushings are damaged and need replacement.

If you need to do this, I hope you can use this tutorial to get it all fixed. Hope it helps. Feel free to give feedback afterwards. Thank you.

Pics labeled *-DRV are for driver side shock...otherwise everything else is same on both sides. It is Pics 18 and 19.

LukasM is infamous around these parts
Thank you so much for the detailed tutorial, very helpful!!

How much would you estimate does this take per side if you have all the proper tools and parts ready to go?

Cheers,
Lukas

If you have never removed shocks or control arms in the Cayenne, I would expect you will take about 6 hours per side (remove shock, replace bushing, reassemble back into place). I would plan to do this over weekend, making sure you have the genuine replacement parts, tools, then take your time.
If you have already done this before, time would be about 2 or 3 hours per side total.

Thanks for the estimate ciaka, this gives me a good idea what I'll have to deal with.

Appreciate the reply!

Best regards from Austria,
Lukas
