PCM 2.1 Problem

Unable to figure out issue with PCM... CD changer works, radio works, navigation works.

So I recently replaced PCM2.1 with another PCM2.1 and now the Amplifier, Sat Radio, and reverse camera do not work... Bought from private party. Does PCM need software update? Any thoughts?

My assumption: the Target and the Actual are not the same causing issue?

What does "SW VERSIONS 1.0" mean?
Do I have version A or B?
Any other important details?

Thanks

Most likely need to take it to a dealer to those options re-enabled, they can do this based on the VIN stored in the Porsche database. It's likely that the PCM unit that you bought did not come from a vehicle that had the same options installed.

I had the iPod/Auxiliary audio module installed on my GTS after it was purchased and I had to take it to the dealer to get it enabled. They do this through the PIWIS system.

So I spoke to someone at the dealersip and they said that they would need to diagnosis ($181 one hour) and if it just needs a simple software update to reflect actual/target then it will be included in the price. Surprised on that to be frank, but they also mentioned that the amplifier maybe bad. On this front, does anyone know what the different plugs on bck of PCM are for?
