Cayenne Died on motorway

Hi Guys.

Was driving at 70mph on a motorway in Portugal last week with my 2006 Cayenne when all the dash lights came on and the power completely went. Got a message saying PSM failure-Workshop. Had done 40 miles earlier that day.
Pulled over and turned it off. Once I took the key out and put it back in again it restated no problem. Got off the motorway and 10 mins later happen again. Got it home and pottered around the local town for the next few days and no problem.
Only thing had happened before that was the battery was totally dead and I bought a new one and had it fitted the day before. Any one any ideas? Totally lost confidence in it now. Only had it a month...!

Possibly a loose ground wire on the battery

Is that one of the connecting leads? Only happened going fast. Drove around the town for days after and didn’t happen.
Would battery issue stop it driving on a motorway?
Cherrs for the reply.
