Zenon headlight

I had to go to a dealership to get the low beam zenons adjustment done. It can only be done by computer, no manual adjustment on the low beams.
my question is if I have to unplug the headlight assembly from the vehicle harness, does that previous setting get stored in the headlight control module in the housing, or if I have to get it reprogrammed again?

It is stored - doesn't matter where as long as you're not changing the headlight.

Thats my problem...the driver's side headlight assembly leaks and has major condensation. The right side is perfect and never gets condensation.
So, I have another headlight assembly that is used but in perfect condition. It evidently needs a bulb or ballast. I have recently changed both(sides) lowbeam bulbs, and have the ballasts etc to put into the new housing.
My question originally was where the settings were stored in memory, and thanks for the reply, but it didn't answer my question.
